Friday 02 to Sunday 04 October 2026

Panambur, Karnataka · Ten spots · Rs 18,000, all in · Rs 12,000, surf and stay

Bookings for All in close on 28 September, and for Surf and stay on 30 September.

Two ways in. The same water either way.

Movin has coached long enough to know that some people come for the sport and the stay and nothing else. Surf and stay is for them. Both plans are the same camp and the same crew, with no private rooms on either; they differ only in getting there and meals.

On both plans, once you are in Panambur, we take you to the beach, the backwater and the skate spot. Every item in the list below is in both plans, unless it is marked All in only.

You are in the water every day

Boards come from the school.

  • One surf session each morning, three across the weekend, boards from the school
  • Board choice for intermediates

Someone is watching every wave you go for

The review happens each day, not at the end of the camp.

  • Direct progression coaching from Movin (Head Coach) with a daily review of what to do and not do
  • Video review of your own waves on the Saturday evening

One house, one cook.

Two shared rooms, six and four beds
  • Stay at Movin's house
  • A cook plus one meal out per day at a chosen local place. All in only

A skate spot and a backwater, on the same weekend.

Nothing here replaces a surf session.

  • A skate session
  • One backwater kayaking session on double kayaks
  • Off-beat spots
  • Bangalore to Panambur and back, arranged. Everyone else meets us in Panambur. All in only
A wide line-up at Panambur, a dozen surfers sitting on their boards while one rides a small wave

Everyone out there started where you are.

The shape of a weekend.

  1. A surfer riding a small wave, seen from a distance along the beach
    Day 01 · Friday 02 October

Arrive, get in the water, then the skate spot

The first session is about standing up and about where the water is doing the work. Then a long meal, board games, the group getting to know itself, and the skate spot before dark.

  2. Movin holding a yellow shortboard on a sandy path under palms
    Day 02 · Saturday 03 October

One session, the kayaks, and the review

Morning in the water with the camera out. At dusk the kayaks in the backwater, and in the evening you watch your own waves back and hear what to change.

  3. Two surfers on the sand at sunset with their arms up and longboards standing beside them
    Day 03 · Sunday 04 October

The last session, then a long lunch

One more surf in the morning, then a good meal and nothing scheduled after it. An off-beat place on the way out if the group wants one.

Your first wave, or your first cutback.

Never surfed

You have never stood on a board. That is the normal starting point here: waist deep water, a big soft board, and a coach telling you where to be before the wave arrives.

A few waves in

You can catch and ride. What you want is someone who can tell you why the last turn did not work. That is the daily review, video of your own waves, and a board picked for the day.

Beginner and intermediate: your first wave to learning a cutback, and everything between

Movin (Head Coach) coaches every surf session himself, and who he is, in full, is on the About page.
